Our Ride Routes

BVBC rides are an enjoyable way to get in shape and have fun with other like minded individuals. We ride Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings all year as a Club.  Our riders encourage one another, providing a stimulating and supportive environment that prepares you for larger rides. We offer  different routes and distances throughout the year.  All rides are "No-Drop".

There are 3 starting points we use (unless announced otherwise): The Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista on Hwy 279, the Church of Christ on the corner of Hwy 71 and County Rd. 40 (across from Walgreen's) and the north end of the Jane Walmart parking lot in Jane, MO.

We don't ride if it's raining, snowing or below 40 degrees.  Use your own judgment about attending.  Phone Dave Wolfe (366-0063) or George Heist (876-1370) if in doubt. We don't have a roll call but we do leave on-time. Average speed is 12-14mph , but wind direction has a lot to do with it.

Helmets are required on all rides!

"Gravette via 72"

This 22 mile out & back ride begins at the Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista on Hwy 279.  We travel ~ 3mi south west on 279 to RT 72 West in Hiwasse.  Turn right on RT 72 heading west.  This is a 2 lane road with a good shoulder in which to ride.  Follow this road about 6 miles to Gravette HS where you will turn right on to Lions road.  We ride through a neighborhood to Rocky Dell Rd and then to Detroit St. NE.  We turn south on 2nd Av and then right on main St where we stop at Austin Drug for a break and then back home.

Gravette/Stagecoach Loop

A favorite of area cyclists, the Stagecoach loop adds some nice rolling hills to an otherwise flat ride.  Head out to Gravette following RT 279 from the Presbyterian Church and ride RT 72 West until you hit Stagecoach Rd on the left after the downhill. Left on Stagecoach and follow to Mt. Olive Rd.  Left on Mt. Olive to Rt 279.  Left on 279 North until you hit RT 72 again.  Right on 72 for 1/4 mi and then left on to RT 279 and back to the church. 27 miles.

Turn right on RT W and head south on a beautiful long downhill back into Pineville.  Follow RT 71 south (left) and Rains Rd. back to Walmart. 36 miles.
